Client Technologies Technician

PURPOSE: Provides technical support for client devices for third shift operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Prepares tests and installs or assists vendor service personnel in installation and maintenance of end-user computer hardware and software
2. Instructs end-users in use of hardware and software
3. Identifies, recommends solutions to end-user hardware / software issues
4. Provides status updates and completion information to appropriate parties via voice, e-mail or in person communications
5. Responsible for maintaining desktop licensing compliance, including following all procedures established to ensure this compliance
6. Provides support or assistance to Network personnel as requested
7. Coordinates activities with manager, business unit team, help desk, network services or other information system groups and or end-users
8. Establishes and follows appropriate priorities of task assignments

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / SKILLS:
1. Associate's degree, or minimum of two years experience, or combination of education and experience
2. Good verbal, written, problem solving and people skills required
3. Computer skills, spreadsheets, graphing and charting are necessary
4. Positive attitude and the ability to deal effectively with all people
5. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
