A minimum of 5
years of progressive professional accounting experience. Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA or CMA). Experience with US GAAP is preferred, but experience with IFRS is also relevant. Professional experience working at or auditing SOX compliant growth companies. Self-starter energized by new challenges and the opportunity to optimize processes and drive efficiencies; ability to identify areas for improvement and lead change in a complex organization. A change agent with the ability to multi-task across several business-as-usual activities and projects. Will have a willingness to challenge the status quo. Strong verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail and sold documentation techniques. Ability to work cohesively and in collaboration as part of cross-functional teams. A desire to provide feedback and mentor finance associates to help them reach their professional potential. Impact You'll Make:
As a key member of the Finance Team, the Sr. Consultant, Revenue reports to the Corporate Controller and is a key contributor in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of revenue. This role will be responsible for the proper billing, recognition and reporting of revenue and will lead other associates within Finance and across other departments to achieve this. As a part of this role, the Sr. Consultant, Revenue will liase with multiple internal business units, including Sales, Product, and Legal, to ensure that the accounting process for new customer contracts and new products is understood. This role has a significant impact on the success of our business and therefore requires a highly motivated self-starter with good communication skills to be successful. Key requirements of this role will be:
Responsible for all aspects of revenue close including monitoring volumes for determination of manual adjustments and checking pricing to supporting contracts Prepare technical memos on accounting interpretation decisions made and setup tracking processes/templates as required. Partner with Sales and Product team to provide value-added advice over agreement/product setup with aims of process efficiency and revenue predictability. Coordinate ongoing improvements to the revenue processes/systems with a goal of minimizing manual involvement. Align with Billing Sr. Lead to understand customers that require additional volume tracking/review, and ensure accuracy and completeness of month end adjustments related to these customers Liase with Sales and Legal to review contract language related to invoicing and revenue recognition for all new contracts. Work with the Financial Systems Team and identify instances of where product coding is not correct on billing issuance, and, correct issues once identified. Responsible for all aspects of issuance of partner royalties. Liaise with various internal departments including Legal and Tax to ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for all aspects of the Company's transfer pricing program. Prepare all monthly/quarterly analysis for Senior Management for revenue results including variances to Prior Year and Forecast/Budget. Work with Internal and External Audit to ensure all revenue process documentation is updated and an accurate reflection of the revenue processes. Various other senior level financial ad hoc projects as required. Accommodation is available, including for applicants with disabilities, in accordance with applicable laws.

$80K -- $100K

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
